PUSH YOURSELF OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Even the most seasoned entrepreneur or business leader can get stuck in a rut and unknowingly hide in their comfort zone. Over the next few months, evaluate the different avenues of your life and shine a spotlight on what needs improvement. What have you been turning a blind eye to that you know needs work? Once youāve labeled it, tackle the challenge of saying goodbye to the ease of your comfort zone and witness all you can achieve when you face the things that frighten you! It is the spookiest time of the year after all
GET HEALTHY
We know that most people set goals about their physical and mental health at New Years, but if youāre like the 80% of people who drop their start of the year goals, now is the perfect time to pick them back up! It is unfathomable the strides you can take when you put an emphasis on your overall wellness. A few tips: Take time for yourself, work with a wellness counselor, exercise daily, and eat super foods!
SET A DEVELOPMENT GOAL
Okay, now letās focus on setting concrete goals, a wise move whether youāre looking for growth in the office or at home. Do you want to learn a new skill set? Then itās time to find a coach or mentor who can help you. Pick up books or audiobooks that will provide you with the knowledge and guidance needed to excel. Do you want to have a better morning and night routine? Choose a family member, friend, or colleague to be your accountability partner. Share your goals for each time of day and lean on them for motivation to stick to your guns.
Another part of this tip is self-accountability. If you want to grow, you have to set goalsĀ nowĀ and refuse to take your foot off of the gas. Set timeframes for each task youāre looking to accomplish, write them on your calendar, and regularly check in with yourself and your progress.
